As we continue to learn about sustainability we have been focusing on what comes from trees and what we can do with it so we don't waste them. We are learning to squeeze the juice from the lemons so we can make lemon juice. We are also learning to preserve pears by peeling and chopping them. We then boiled them up and packaged them so we can keep them to eat later in the year. We are really enjoying our time with our friends in Room 3.
We could also make cress heads and are learning how to make paper in Room 3. We are ripping up lots of used paper to make new paper instead of throwing it out.
