Congratulations Tyler!
Room 2 are very proud of Tyler this week for receiving our certificate in assembly this week. It was so lovely to see how delighted you were in going up a reading level and in receiving your certificate in front of the whole school! What a wicked grin!
Assembly, Wheely Wheels, and The Lorax!
Today we celebrated Alizae in assembly as she received our class certificate. Congratulations Alizae!
After assembly we had a reward time. We were allowed to bring our wheels to school. We raced on our scooters, rode our bikes and had a great time together. We are looking forward to our next reward day already!
We also had Buddy Reading. We met our Buddy Class, Room 10 and their teacher, Miss Rickard. We enjoyed listening to two stories under the trees, although it was very cold when it was supposed to be very hot!
In the afternoon we joined with our friends from Room 3 to continue our investigations learning. Some of us were very proud of our drawing skills. We are getting very clever at drawing The Lorax.
Some of us were busy cleaning out the yoghurt containers that we have been collecting in the yellow recycling box at play and lunchtimes. We are going to reuse these to make cress heads.
