Patterns, patterns, patterns

We have a great bunch of new children who are part of our Te Waka o Matariki group.  These children are new to school and are learning about the different things that we do at school and we work on some goals to make sure we are ready for learning.
This week, the Te Waka o Matariki group are focusing on making patterns.  Some of us find this tricky but we have had a practice and tried again today and we had some great results.  We are all very proud of the patterns we made.
Tomorrow some of us are going to have a challenge to see if we can make an even more tricky pattern.

    We liked your patterns and they are amazing (Sini). Your pattern is beautiful (Vaueli). Patterns are copying something you've already done (Jenysis). We've done patterns in our class before and it is nice making them.
