Our big book this week was 'Monkey's Shoes'. Monkey takes some shoes that he finds in the jungle. He uses them and climbs, jumps and hops around the jungle. A parrot goes around telling everyone about what Monkey is doing. The man comes to find his shoes and tells the Monkey to give them back. Monkey falls and the shoes come off.
We made our own Monkey faces today. We were practising our colouring, cutting and finger exercises when we dabbed the paint on with a sponge. We had to think like the Monkey and say what we thought the Monkey would say as he was swinging in the jungle.
We read that book too! Your work is nice and neat (Vaueli). It's really great that Savanna can write her words by herself (Clover). You listened to your teacher how to do your mask and you did it nicely (Valerie).
